Ring the Alarm.

I'm living on the edge and updating from work. Probably not the smartest move ever. I guess I'm just testing corporation to see if they really monitor this shit. Hi, Corporate Office!

Just a quick note: Eva and Catie, thanks for your comments. I did respond, but I'll say it again here: you are both right, of course. The doctor reversed our game plan, which caught me off guard and (obviously) set me off. This journey has been frustating, but I need to keep it in perspective. I've not been trying as long as others and so I need to back off on the whining and remember that.

I am usually the first one to arrive at my office, which means I have to deactivate the alarm as soon as I enter the building. I've had the same security code for all of the 5+ years I've worked here, yet every single morning I am convinced I will forget the code and set the alarm off. Last year, it finally happened. The alarm blared, the phone rang, the cops arrived. It was highly embarrassing and not a little traumatic to have a cop come in with his gun drawn. I don't think I'll repeat that mistake again, but I always enter the code with baited breath now and can't relax until the light turns green.

And there really was no point to that little story. Maybe updating from work isn't the best idea after all...
