Just Great.

Since the beginning of the month, layers of snow and ice have built up on our roof. Beautiful- and HUGE- icicles have formed along the front and back of the house. Today, it warmed up enough for some of the snow and ice to start melting. All day we've been hearing a crash here and there as another chunk loosens up and slides off of the roof. I was upstairs when a particularly loud crash shook the entire house. Then I heard Brian say something that sounded like "oh, shit."

A large sheet of ice had come off of the back of the house and onto the roof of the sunporch and the force of it shattered one of the windows. Oh, shit...indeed. I guess that goes on the never-ending list of Shit To Take Care Of.
